pumpkin roll for thanksgiving, jelly roll pan?

do u have to use a jelly roll pan to make a roll dessert?

i have a glass casserole pan that's about 10 by 10 w/ high edges, can i use that to make it or do i need to buy a jelly roll pan?

    You really need a jelly roll pan or a cookie sheet with an edge.

    You're going to have a heck of a time trying to get the cake out of a glass pan to roll.

    You can run to a grocery store and buy a $3 disposable JR pan.
