Good camcorder for christmas, please?
Skip to the third paragraph if your too lazy to read this: I have experience with cameras so I am more open to what you can find. I don't mind having to white balance myself, or set the iris myself. Anyways, I asked my parents for a camcorder for christmas and they said that they don't know too much and don't want to get the wrong one so they told me to try and find one.
I started to look up some but I am having trouble finding the best one. So can anyone give me a link to a nice camera that I can ask my parents to get.
-I have 3 yrs of filming experience from my school
-I would prefer a camera to be below or near to $400
-I would like to hook it up to my computer without having to buy extra accessories
-I could care less if I need tape or not
-I would prefer good quality if possible, but remember the price range.
I'm sorry if I am picky about this. Thank you for your help.
It wasn't what I wanted to hear, I had a feeling I picked the wrong sections... =(
But no worries, ironically I found a great camera while waiting for answers. lol
Jeff, what did you think I was planning on using my camera for, to shoot the next sequal top batman. No, it's for home moives and maybe small unprofessional movies with my friends. Infact I have many camera that can do this, I just want the best one.

I really hate to be a jerk but you cannot find a "good" camera for <400. However, my old camera was I think 350 and is great for personal use. Which is pretty much what you want it for.
