Still Bored #5. Shampoo!!?

What brand do you prefer?? Are you loyal to one brand, or will you get something else if it is on sale?????

Do you have other shampoos on hand for special skin/coat situations????

Update:

I use the Black Out types when showing, but otherwise, I have gotten many different brands at shows.

I have an Oatmeal based one for cleaning hot spots in the summer. I have not used it in years. It might need to GO!!!

Update 2:

I have found I like cheap Baby Shamooo from Aldi's!!!!! Diluted it really cuts through the dirt!!!!!

Update 3:

I will let you know what a "Celebration Loaf" is after I find out. They said it was GRAIN based...not tofu based. Cool :(

Whatever's cheap. Mostly I use diluted dish detergent.

But when I'm feeling extravagant, I like La Pooch, Oats Fur Coats (by Kelco) and Lambert Kay Fresh N Clean with oatmeal and baking soda.

Which ever one I like the smell of ;-)

I generally stick to oatmeal shampoos, but I do change every so often.

Add: what is celebration loaf, BTW? Or am I better off not knowing?

Add: okay - grain based might be *okay*. Not great, but okay - better than tofu!

There's no brand that l prefer, l tend to go by the smell, if it smells nice then l give it a try.

l need to get some shampoo specifically for white dogs for little Alfie, so l'll have to have a smell at some!

  • I use oatmeal shampoo on duke when he has scratches alot. Most of the time i just use whats on sale or I will buy specific shampoo for dry skin for Dakota or whichever kind Duke or Dakota needs. If they don't need that then I just use regular shampoo! followed by Moisturizing spray!

I use Veterinarians Best Apple/Oatmeal, it conditions the skin and coat, never dry or flaky skin, and coats shine like a new penny...

and smells nice without a strong scent to it.....this is only one I will use...great for any color dog...cleans deep....gets the dirt out...

I tend to use tea tree shampoo, the only shampoo I've found the really eliminates the disgusting stench of foxes poop from my Dobe's coat.

For show I had disposable coat wipes. No I'm not loyal to one brand.

I use a flea shampoo, not that my dogs have fleas, but I am paranoid. I use Martha Stewart Pima Cotton bath towels, and the dogs have several blow dryers. The game is showing a half time show. Woo-hoo.

i finally found the shampoo that works the best for me, crazy dog shampoo. its the ONLY shampoo that i have ever used that actually makes my dog smell really good after their bath. everything else smells good in the bottle but doesnt stay on my dog for more than 10 min. it works really good and like i said makes them smell amazing!

I just ran to the bathroom to check. We bought Petco tearless baby shampoo. Our puppy is shorthaired, so she rarely needs baths.

We use whitening shampoo on my shiba. Don't have a favorite brand yet.
