Sometimes I'll add some chicken broth or gravy, or I'll throw in various food items that I have handy. If we're travelling I'll usually add canned food to keep them eating.

My seniors get glucosamine, and Sally gets Meloxicam added to her food.

All three of my babies get their dog food, and I add boiled or baked chicken, then boiled London Broil the next day....we switch out every other day for them

I give them Pet Tab Plus, Calcium Tablets, and Brewers Yeast Tablets with Garlic...all this is on a daily basis..

  • I feed raw, primarily... they eat almost anything including leftovers.

The only thing I ever really supplement with is extra fat/salmon oil/grease whatever. Everything else is simply part of the free form meal planning I do.

  • Carrot in with the youngest dry food (he wont always eat it and I will never feed canned to my dogs, so its the way to get him to eat it!). But thats it. The two oldest ones get glucosomine before they eat.

    Did I miss #5?!!

I don't have a dog but I would feed it canned food, meat and bones, and bread

A poached egg on occasion. Other than that, he regularly gets carrots, and less often, small bits of cheese and peanut butter in the kong as treats.

I have looked onto garlic pills, omega 3s, etc., but I'm not convinced that they are worth it.

  • sometimes I add Lettuce,carrots,apples,green beans,gravy,omega 3 oils,meat(hamburger,chicken).

Sometimes I will buy the vitamins that are square from Walmart.

If I am not adding anything they just eat their dry food and sometimes with wet food added.

once a week i add one egg and a table spoon of extra virgin olive oil, and with the puppy food i add a biscuit too, it's got extra nutrients for weight gaining i think, or muscle growth>>> get it from my pet shop, but it's all natural and is good for them!
