I have the Star Wars Best of PC, and, lo and behold, there's a problem.....?
The Empire at War map editor will not load because it does not detect a copy of the game. I have the Best of PC which came with the game, though....what up with this?

I had the same problem, so here's what you can do;
Go online and search "Empire At War Map Editor", you should find something called Petroglyph Map Editor, go to the site, dowload the file, and viola! the map editor!
Don't worry wether its safe, I used it and love the options and custom maps on land and in space!!!
