Best Crate for Traveling?
I need a crate to put my dog in when we are staying in a hotel. (We are traveling by car, not plane.) These are the different ones I am looking at: http://www.forhappydogs.com/c-8-single-door-life-s... and http://www.forhappydogs.com/c-16-soft-sided-crates... Has anyone used any of these? Is one type better than another? I prefer to get Midwest crates as I've never had any trouble with their products or with the seller.

I wouldn't go with second one, especially if you've got a chewer, or a dog who isn't used to being crated.
Get your dog used to being crated before you travel, make sure its a positive place. If you just get to the hotel put the crate up and shove the dog in, you'll probably be finding a new hotel at 1 am.

I would use a vari kennel.
I don't like the foldy ones b/c if something falls on them....it could hurt the dog and my dogs don't do well in crates so they turn around and roll on the fabric ones
thanks simply my opinion but have a great trip
