There is such a thing as a unicorn, and there is such a thing as a god - it's just they don't exist (but the concept of both exists).

Pink Floyd had a flying pig fly into their stages while performing live, but that was created by man for the entertainment of man. The pig of course did not really fly (hung by wires) and the pig although a real animal was a prop.

The most likely assumption is that unicorns don't exist. Yes, it's an assumption, but it is still the most likely possibility and coincides with observed reality.

There is no reason to accept the Christian version of what a god is like than there is to accept any other version, or no version at all.
