Internet explorer help.?
I've been having trouble with my computer lately especially when it comes to internet explorer. For some reason, whenever I try to open internet explorer in my log in (windows computer), it doesn't open. However, it does for the other log in users on this computer. I did a lot of things like do a system restore but that didn't work. I tried installing a newer edition (internet explore beta 8.0) but it didn't work and would never install all the way. I had it installing for a whole day and night and it still didn't install all the way. Is there a way to fix this for good? Plus, can you name some ways to help my computer run faster and have a long lifespan without buying anything like a test and cleaner? thanks. 10pts for best answer.

You can run disk cleanup and disk defragmentation. under your control panel to quickly speed things up. Also, go through and delete any programs you do not use. I would also delete your anti-virus and replace it with a free one online with spyware protection. They are simpler, faster, cheaper (free), and generally cause less problems. As for internet explorer, I would stop using it (and maybe get rid of it, like I did), and replace it with Mozilla Firefox (firefox.com). It is free and runs much faster and smoother in my opinion. Plus, you can customize it.

I'd say switch to FireFox and get the IE Tab add on, if you don't like how FireFox displays a page this add on will change it to IE, but run through FireFox.
