Is it time to fire Herm Edwards?

Question

Ok, so I am a die hard Chiefs fan and this crap has gotten way out of control. With all of the idiotic play calls ever I have ever seen its a wonder how the hell he ever began coaching in the first place. Now, I understand that injuries their defense is in crumbles.

But that is no excuse for not knowing how to tackle. How the hell did they get through college without knowning how to tackle. 

Then you got the stupid play calling. Last week it was 9 rushing attempts for LJ for 80 + yards. AND THEN THEY ABANDON WHAT WORKS. The reasoning behind thigpens pics are that he was pressure to throw the ball so they could have a chance at a comeback. 

I heard on the local sports news that San Diego State was looking at possibly making him the head coach there. 

I wish the Chiefs would fire Edwards and Gunther and Gailey would step up as temp head coach.

Im a chiefs fan as well and i agree they need to bring in a different coach but in my opinion like 90 somethin percent r like rookies so it isnt all his fault. it does not help that tony gonzolez  wants to be traded and LJ is alway getting in trouble. I do agree that it is time for an new coach though. they also need better offence, defence, special teams coaches as well.

I am am Jet fan and was not happy when the Jets fired Herm. But there more to it sometime than coaching. Is the GM getting him the players he needs? I don't really follow the Chiefs so couldn't say. But I do think that Herm Edwards is a good coach, truly dedicated.

You ever see Herm Edwards after a loss in a media interview?  The man takes no responsibility.  He always has an excuse up his sleeve.  If he can't take personal responsibility and coach better, how does he expect his players to perform?  Herm Edwards...  You're FIRED!!!

My dad's a Chiefs fan and he thinks it's long overdue. Even though I'm a Rams fan, but I still think he should go. He has done a terrible job while in KC. The Chiefs haven't been the same since Vermeil left. Besides, you know it's bad when your coach was involved in the "We play to win the game!" press conference.

I think that Edwards is a good coach. The Chiefs real problem is there defence. They have a lot of high draft pick who are busts. You have to blame the GM for that so in my opinion it is Petersen that should be fired first. Bring in a new GM and let him decide before firing Edwards.
