If your midnight snack implies something before bed, or near before bed, I suggest the following.

Fruit contains useful chemicals for falling asleep, especially berries.

I suggest trying not to think about cheese, as it can cause your stomach to churn all night long. It contains grease when melted and is fairly thick when it comes to digesting.

Grab a cupful of vanilla ice cream and add some raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries to it. Take some water as well, to wash it down. Voila!
