I need some help. please?
My boyfriend and I had sex and didn't use a condom. I'm on the pill and my period ended the day before. How likely is it that I have gotten pregnant? I'm pretty sure I didn't and I'm really not looking for a lecture from anyone because I am not making any excuses as to why we didn't use one. It's just I thought I was okay seeing as my period ended so soon to that until a friend of mine said I could still get pregnant. Then I did some research and read this article with all these women writing in saying that that is how they got pregnant. But really how likely is it?

It's very likely...just because you're on the pill doesnt mean that you're safe or "protected" from pregnancy. my cousin got pregnant twice while on the pill and she took hers religously. just be careful the next time you have sex regardless of how soon your period ends. remember that no birth control method is 100% effective. if you think you're preggo, take a pregnancy test. you should wait til your period is late that way you will have an accurate result.
good luck and i hope this helps!!!

Your probably not because your on the pill, but I did get pregnant at the end of my period, because a egg is released, but since your on the pill then I don't think you are.

It's as likley as it would be if you were going to get your period in two weeks. Like, if you're on the pill you can still get preg, it just decreases the chances. It doesn't matter when you had your last period, or when it ended or anything. If you are really worried, get a self pregnancy test. Crossing my fingers for you!

If you take the pill as directed there is a less than 1% chance you are pregnant.

As you may know, unprotected sex has a high risk of unexpected pregnancy & sorry to say you may be pregnant. But instead of just driving yourself crazy about it, buy a few tests & take them all at the same time just to verify the results.
I hope I helped.
Good Luck=]

It's not very likely, however it *is* possible. That's why they don't state that the pill is 100% effective, because it's not.

Not likely, but please be more careful in the future. It's technically possible to get pregnant any time you have sex with or without protection.
