It's definitely on the road to limiting free speech. But that's what Neocons want and they feed it to you like a spoonful of ice cream. Beware. It's not ice cream.

No. Some little Act that was passed through the federal Congress does not over rule the First Amendment!

"Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press..."

Somehow, someway the federal Congress just can't seem to wrap their collective head around this statement.

Why the judicial branch, including the Supreme Court, hasn't jumped all over the Acts coming out of the Legislative and Executive branches is beyond me.

No, that would be the so-called "Fairness Doctrine." Sure, try silencing the Conservatives for being RIGHT all of the time, and stop that darned "profiling" so that more would-be terrorists could have that pesky "would-be" part removed.

When speech is dangerous or divisive (see:Jeremiah Wright and his polluted poison), there is such a thing as freedom being abused. Same with child pornography, which nobody should have the "freedom" to purvey.

Yes. Consider this the Patriot act may make it impossible for U.S. citizens who wish to fight for their country by being system of communal ownership, recycled products not for profit.

Environmentalism may be said to be unpatriotic.

Also consider Wall Mart death do to artificial ad frenzy as reason to change.

Before you criticize, read the act. There is nothing harmful to anyone except the bad guys in the act.
