NO IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUY THIS GUITAR STAY AWAY. the action is really high so it will never sound in tune. the screws stripped right away. the strap and gig bag ripped. the picks are 4 times the size of normal picks. the guitar chips too easily. The cable is a piece of crap. Even though it was only 80 dollars, this guitar was a hassle to tune and never worked right. don't waist the money on it. i had mine for a year and i noticed some songs didn't sound right even though i knew them.you cant find this guitar anywhere but ebay and amazon, and it is a fake fender rip off. DO NOT BUY

Im a beginner and I got an acoustic because you can take it any where without an amp and you can play any sort of music you want on it. Start with an acoustic, and then when you get good buy yourself an electric :)
