My husband's wedding band..?

We haven't had our ceremony yet, but we're having it in January. We just now got our rings. He wouldn't give me any hint about what he was interested in, and he never wears jewelry, so I wasn't sure. But I got him a white gold band with a strip of diamonds in it. Now my question is this.. If I had it engraved, would that be too much? I don't want to overdo it, but I want it to be.. special I guess.

Update:

I also have to have it sized. And honestly, I haven't had anything like this that has been so expensive. So naturally, I'm paranoid about leaving it in the hands of a jeweler. Any suggestions about what I should consider?

Only leave it in the hands of the jeweler who sold it to you-don't leave it in the hands of someone you don't know! Engrave the inside and make it really special but not sappy. It's your special day and he will be wearing the ring for the rest of his life, so engraving it will make it extra special for him, and doing it on the inside will ensure that it's special between the two of you.

  • My husband and my ring were expensive but I mean real expensive. If I was you I would engrave it. Its something special. Something you want to remember for ever. No matter what the price is. Go ahead! Do it! And as my grandma says (Just a joke) have it engrave before he uses it on another bimbo just incase you get divorced LOL (we didn’t engrave ours for that reason)

Have it engraved. This is a special occasion. He will love the time and attention you spent.

have it engraved on the inside

that way it will only be apparent to the 2 of you
