What is your favorite game in the Total War series?

I'll list it from all the total war series (everything except shogun, never played it )

1. Medieval 2

2. Rome Total War

3. Barbarian Invasion

4. Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms

5. Medieval 1

But I'm definitely sure Empire will by far be the best as long as they unpolish their graphics, Medieval 2 graphics are good enough for large scale battle, anything flashier will make my comp explode. It's incredible to see how sharp the naval battles are. They gotta tone it down a bit and focus on gameplay. Because that's what made Medieval 2 so fun, just gameplay, not looks.

Reason I loved Medieval 2 Total War:

All because of side missions. Please the pope, go do the crusades, marry princesses, appoint family members through bribes, "man of the hour", or my favorite, marriage. Use of spies makes taking cities so much funner, enemy troops are scattered so you can easily surround their central town square. Assassinating popes is fun, especially when he hates your guts and will excommunicate you.

Also the hard sides makes it awesome too cuz of the challenge. Getting surrounded by all enemies in all fronts. Conquering one Middle Eastern city from the Crusades and defending it from waves after waves of Muslims who want it back. Pope excommunicating you is sorta annoying but fun.

But there stuff that makes it just plain annoying: cavalry not able to charge well enough ( charge but slow down or stop ). Gunpowdered units stop shooting and constantly regroup (terrible bug). Cannons do the same. Also they gotta fix Computer Nations' intelligence. I hate how you give them money they start liking you but then the next turn they attack you.

MOST ANNOYING THING I'VE EVER SEEN: played as France, got the pope to love me, and got the most favors from Pope than any other Christian nation. However, Holy Roman Empire, a Christian nation, attacks me, but the pope doesn't excommunicate him. I fight back to defend, but the pope EXCOMMUNICATES ME. He starts giving me missions telling me to stop the fighting when I was like, " He started it you fat ashole." I sent my favorite assassin to kill him and became happy again : D.

My personal favorite series of all time is kingdom hearts. I watched my brother playthe firt game when I was in second grade. I pretty much grew up with it, the story is just so deep and intricate. Back when I had family issues I would pretend to visit sora Donal and goofy on destiny island. Hahaha I was a dork, I know.
