It is an important job. Secretary of state is basically the voice of the administration. Knowledge of foreign policy and diplomacy are requisites. Hillary would be expected to travel quite a bit and meet with foreign leaders.
Condi has been briefing Obama on the terrorist attack in India and on other issues.

The secretary of state oversees foreign affairs. Hillary will be a good candidate because she believes in diplomacy unlike our current administration.
