With yesterday's win, are the Steelers the AFC team to beat?

yes they are playing the best in the afc right now..i believe they can beat any team, including the giants..

you should ask this question in 3 weeks, after they play the boys, ravens and titans.

i've always thought the titans were overrated this season. they had a fairly easy schedule, no really big games against caliber teams.

the jets? eh. i'm not really sold on them yet. they have a pretty soft schedule too. so they beat the titans. someone was going to at some point.

who else we got? the ravens maybe? they're doing better than i expected with a rookie coach and QB, and they've actually played some quality opponents. i'd rank them higher than the jets, just because of their D alone.

indy is sneaking back in the picture too. but something's off with them. barely squeaking by the browns yesterday? yeah, they beat the steelers a few weeks ago, and they've won their last 5. pretty impressive after going 3-4 to start the season.

that leaves the steelers. the defense is playing out of their minds, as usual. ben's only been sacked twice in the last 2 games i believe. they got the running game going again yesterday which is a good sign. i'm a biased steelers fan, but i think they are the most overall rounded team out of them all. they have a good mix of D and O. and the special teams don't suck as bad as they have (though they still need a new punter...berger sucks. go get josh miller back, he's unemployed right now).

i do think the steelers are the team to beat in the AFC.

and yes, silverback should get the defensive player of the year. he's been all over the field every single game wreaking havoc on QB's left and right. are he and troy sharing secrets or something? those 2 are maniacs.

Hell yes they are the best in the AFC. As for the Pats playing with injuries, take a look at what players aren't playing for Pittsburgh & have missed many games this season and will continue to be sidelined. They play the toughest schedule in the league, are constantly penalized for playing defense the way it's supposed to be played(that bs call yesterday on the Welker hit!!!), the #1 defense....again!! in the league...what more do they have to do? Their only loses should have been wins with the exception of the Eagles game and Harrison should be named the Secretary of Defense and could whip the Taliban & AlQuida by himself & probably blindside Bin Laden just for kicks.
