People are so consumed in their lives because of their unhappiness. They only wish to obtain the celebrity's status quo so they create a malicious rumor to seek damage in hopes of bringing the celebrity down to their level of pain. Most people read tabloids and buy them for the sheer satisfaction of reading the hardships of the celebrities because they only wish to fill their shoes.

They do it for the same reason that they make up rumours about non celebrities-
They have an empty boring life with nothing better to do with their time

they do the same thing with real people. it's cuz we live in a 2-faced society that's a pain in the ***. people are mean and jealous. they enjoy talking about people and starting **** cuz they think it makes them look big and bad when in fact it just makes them look stupid
