the wist that hurts does not bend as far as my other wrist. there is a bit of pain in my wrist when i try to bend it

I agree this could be a gangaloin.
The doctors in the old days used to hit them with a very large book and bust them.

A spongy bone perhaps? My guess would be that it is some kind of ganglia due to a trauma to your wrist.
Go see a doctor.

It's a cyst. Normally caused by carpal tunnel when your carpal tunnel becomes inflamed it makes the cyst pop out. Corticoid steroids usually keep it from getting bigger.
