Anyone know any good ideas for a butterfly themed baby shower?

I'm throwing my best friend a baby shower, (she's having a girl) the theme is butterflies, any creativity that is low in money would be so helpful.. Thank You!!!

BTW: The colors are baby pink and brown, and its going to be outside..

Make some games. This doesn't have to do with butterflies, but I've heard this one before.

Take chocolate candies, and diapers. Melt (yes) melt them into the diapers. The game is to guess which candy is which.

Here's an idea for butterlies. have about 3 or 4 long thin fish line wires across the top of the whole area, held by a fence, side of house (stapled into wood) or something else. Take a bunch of colored pieces of paper. go to a crafts store and buy (if they have one) a butterfly shaped paper cutter-outter. Cut a whole bunch and fold them in half.

Make two slits (at right angles to the fold) about one inch.

You now have a butterfly with a little hole that you can put a piece of string trough and hang a whole bunch. It may not be the FASTEST, but it's pretty darn cheap.

    Bye now...

I had a customer at walmart buy like 10 packs of gum and I didnt say anything, but she said she was putting on a bay shower the next day and its a game where the guests try to make babies out of unchewed gum. She said its hilarious! You could try with butterflys!

You could make cute butterfly decorations with clothes pins and flat round coffee filters. Use red food coloring to make them pink and clip them inside the clothes pins. You could hang them from the trees or set them on the tables. My daughter made some of these at daycare and they are super cute. I put magnets on them and hung them on the fridge.

ps- If you wanted to, you can also use pipe cleaners for the antenna!
