They are a lot more likely to be concerned about whether you are Jewish than what color you are. If you are really serious about this, I highly recommend learning about the Jewish religion.

Judasim as a religion, which I'm delighted to see you know it's not an "ethnicity" by itself, is a community & family religion not just personal. So, if one is to be Jewish, one needs one's family & spouse to be Jewish or at the least fully participating at a soul level. I have no idea how much the folks you listed value their religious connection. But you get the idea.

Jewish guys aren't all doctors & lawyers & scientists (& I'm met some dumb Jews), but even back in Temple days there are indications that they were considered desirableable as husbands by women of neighboring cultures because they were good to their wives & responsible husbands :). So back to race, even in my own life being brought up by an older generation, one of which is a Holocaust survivor, when I started dating the question was "so is he Jewish?" After all, how do you raise kids within Judaism if your spouse isn't? When race came up, it was a non-issue to both parents. And that's going back to a time when it was an issue to lots of people in marriage both black & white.

If you dig more into the background of the folks considered atheist Jews, you'll discover that the generalization doesn't hold well. Some like Marx were raised by a converted to Protestantism father & didn't have reason consider themselves Jewish at any point. For other's what's called atheithism is really more a Spinoza idea of God, which a number of Reform & committed Jews believe & which fits in fine with Judaism (Einstein for example). Others are non-practicing Jews in the way someone can be nominally Christian.

The problem with the ethnicity concept is that it's not accurate by itself. One of Hitler's contributions to hatred of Jews was to change it from religious affiliation to "race" or "ethnicness" to make it easier to justify killing them, even Christians with 1 Jewish grandparent. It's a community plus religon, & because of marrying to others there is a historic connection that way. Most of the "ethnicity" people cling too comes straight out of the religion itself. One can convert & be 100% Jewish. So that's why it's more complex than calling it an ethnicity. Hope that helped.

Of Course, there are Black Jews too. There is actually a Jewish Community I had the opportunity to correspond with in Africa. Jews are regular people. There are even Jews that hate Jews, they are called Self -Hating Jews (someone spent 2 seconds coming up with that label)

But to the point. I would think that because the Jewish Community is trying to grow again there is a lot of emphasis on marriage between two Jews. Jews have been plenty and few and plenty and few throughout the ages. You may see more of a focus on preservation and regrowth in some cultures, religions, or ways of life due to the massive slaughter of human beings under the Third Reich. - I am not talking about just the Jewish people, there were many taken to their graves for no reason other then sick twisted crazy ideas that other sick twisted people listened to.

She’s been on plenty of dinner-and-a-movie dates. Do a little research and find interesting places and things to do around town that’s out of the ordinary. There are hidden gems in every city. Also, get to know the owners of small restaurants and business. When your date is known by the people in the establishment, it feels more like you’re being invited into his inner circle. Just be aware that there’s a fine line between being impressive and showing off. Make sure that you make your date feel like you’re inviting her in and sharing instead of being a douche. Yes. I've known Jewish guys to date black women, and marry them. Of course, some of those black women are Jewish themselves . . . and some of those Jewish guys were black. The interracial couples that I know tend not to also be interfaith, if that helps.
