What kind of a person steals toilet paper and laundry soap?

Ok, so like an idiot I left my car unlocked last Saturday. I went grocery shopping that day, and the day before I went Wal-Mart shopping. I left the TP and laudry soap in the car on Friday thinking I'd get it on Saturday. I borrowed my parents little green steam machine over Thanksgiving and it was in the car too. I also left a small overnight sized duffle bag in the car thinking I'd get it when I got the other stuff out of the car later that day. It was about 6:15 when I got home and I hadn't eaten since about 7:00am that day. I had to do laundry and wanted to get it started before it got too late. So I dragged in the groceries, put them up, ate supper, started my laundry, and colapsed on the couch. I completely forgot about the stuff in the car until it was time to switch stuff from washer to dryer. By then I thought, Oh I'll just leave it until tomorrow, not realizing that meant I was leaving the car unlocked as well. The next morning it was raining and when I went to unlock the car to put the umbrella in the back seat I realized it was unlocked and upon opening the back door realized something didn't look right...my laundry soap was missing...and the little green steam machine! About an hour later I realized that my bag was missing too, and of all things my TP!

I take full responsibility for leaving my car unlocked and for leaving all that stuff in my car. But who steals laundry soap and toilet paper - I mean I guess I understand stealing the bag and the steam machine (I suppose there's a little value in those things), but TP and soap???!!!!??!?!?!

Oh, and, does this mean that the person who stole my stuff wasn't Christian?

It only means that the one who stole your stuff was also looking for a public restroom which oftentimes do not have enough TP. The Laundry soap is also handy for a thief who cannot afford to buy a new clothes and he probably is doing it on a laundromat where the restroom is available for use..

BTW, there are many hardened criminals in our jails all over the civilized nations of the world that have tattoos of the Cross, Jesus face with crown of thorns,, Mary or Archangel Michael on their bodies which would only mean they are Christians.

Open your eyes, Many non-Christians are found most of the time better than you think of your kind.

There are people who will steal whatever isn't nailed down. It's sad, but true. That's sad about the steam machine. As for the soap and TP, I guess, consider it an act of charity to someone who was too poor/stupid/cheap/dishonest to put out the bit of cash and effort to acquire it honestly.

Maybe they had dirty floors and a dirty hiney.

Some people just steal because they can. Not even something they need... just because it's there. In these hard economical times, people need to save money where ever they can.... that includes TP.

p.s. I don't think religion plays a factor here. Clearly a TRUE disciple of Christ knows better than to break such a commandment.

Sadly, most crimes like this are crimes of opportunity... it was convenient...

Yes, you left your car unlocked, making it easy to steal stuff from your car, but that doesn't FORCE anyone to steal stuff from your car.

As to what kind of person...

    Bored..

    Greedy..

    Mentally unstable (kepto?)..

It was just someone who needed those things.

Times are really hard for many many folks right now.

A dirty one? My sister once lost her panties to the thief - not those she had on but her laundry! Pretty, clean lace-panties. Hm...

I ques a person that needs to wipe their butt and wash their clothes. Even thieves don't want to be dirty & stinky.
