Please help me with song choice!?
I'm auditioning for my school's musical which is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream coat.
And we need to pick a song from a musical that isn't from Joseph.
I have an alright range. but i don't really want to sing a song that goes too high.
Thanks guys!

i would sing something upbeat since most of the songs in the musical (like the narrator's) are upbeat. this link has some info on the musical itself: http://www.musicaltheatreaudition.com/shows/joseph...
i would suggest maybe something from AIDA, Seussical (maybe Notice Me Horton, It's Possible), or maybe Godspell. break a leg!

Someone Else's Story form Chess - beautiful, pretty easy to learn
On my Own from Les Miserables - classic, amazing, this is probably the highest song here
Astonishing from Little Women - good for belters, maybe start halfway through
Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie - amazing, good audition song
As We Stumble Along from Drowsy Chaperone - this one's a bit lower, faster, and fun

you should do a song from a recent or really famous musical, so they don't think youre boring, you could sing a song from hairspray or wicked=]

Choose ON MY OWN!
It's not too high and you can do falsettos if you cant reach it.
Good Luck!
