I'm 17 and want a tongue piercing. Can i take my 18 yr old friend to sign? or does it need to be a parent?

A lot of my friends have tattoos and piercings, and they said that their cousins and friends who are 18 yrs and older took them. Is that possible?

No. Any shop that accepts the signature of a sibling is a shady shop that is breaking the law and you don't want to get pierced or tattooed there, anyway.

no you have to have a parent with you or they won't pierce you!

people that did it like your friends they could get in alot of trouble cause the piercer could have loose his piercing licenses, and spend time even in jail and up to a 1000 dollar fine and most body piercers will risk it and then there are some that won't which they are the smart ones and they care about there job where the other ones don't..... In the united states you have to be at least 18 with Id or under 18 with a parent its there rules!

Not possible unless you go to a very lenient piercer. Often times that kind of stuff get's piercer or tattoo artists in biggg trouble.

As for you, I wouldn't take the risk. Just use a parent/guardian. If they aren't down for it, wait till youre 18.

most places require an adult to take you if they don't you probably shouldn't go there anyway

a good tattoo/ piercing shop will have ethics and wont pierce just anyone just to make a buck if they are good then they will have plenty of legal customers.. why don't you just get a parent to go with you?

plus not to be mean but tongue rings look sort of trashy and can break your teeth!!!

it depends. some piercer be press and want your parent to come and some will do it for the money. if you're 17 just wait a few month until you're 18 to get it done. you never know when you get there unless you call to make sure.

Yeah it must be a criminal guardian yet to be common they actually do no longer ask for something to show it. My mom signed for my cousin to get her tongue pierced and he or she wasn't her criminal guardian and my cousin has her tongue pierced lol yet you in basic terms being a year difference, i think of no longer. they are not that stupid...

No. Other than a parent or legal guardian. They can't take you if they are just your friend. And don't think they can walk in and day they are your legal guardian, you'll have to present paperwork stating that they are indeed your legal guardian.

Get your parents to take you or wait.

depends on where yu live and where yu go

like i was 15 when i got a tattoo my brotgher signed

but in MOST PLACES you just have to be with someone 18 who can show valid identification

    hope i helped

If your friends took someone who wasn't their parent or legal guardian to consent for them, then they went to sketchy piercers. If you want it bad enough, then waiting a year shouldn't be a big deal.
