What can you buy a boy 12 and a girl 8-11?

Question

I love donating gifts during the holidays and this year I need to pick a gift for a 12 year old boy and 8-11 year old girl.  Any suggestions?  They indicated that it had to be at least 10 dollars.

skip the legos for the 12 year old unless it's a special kit like star wars or something (kids these days are too into electonics these days though)

GIRL:

I have 3 daughters ages 9,7,and 6. 

they ALL love to make crafts of any kind. you could put together a craft set by gathering various items at your local dollar store (dollar tree has awesome craft stuff), walmart, or michaels craft store (they have a dollar section too). find things like feathers, pom poms (colored cotton balls), glitter, sheets of foam, felt, ribbon, beads (and plastic string to make bracelets with),etc. I did this for a little girl for her birthday and it was her favorite gift!!

lego at 12? i wouldnt!

you didnt say about cost, but at 12, most boys love any type of gaming system... or according on the boy, something sporty like a skateboard or fottie stuff...

as for girls of  that age..again depends on the girl, but anything from girly shops like clares assessories... they ,love all that girls stuff!
