Pimple looking bump in cornea?

I know... Go see an eye doctor... That's not the answer I'm looking for... I need to know if anyone might have a clue on what this is and how to fix it... I'm planning on seeing the eye-doctor so don't worry...

My story....

So I had my contacts on all day and all night... over 24hrs... but not while sleeping... well it was irritating me the entire night, unfortunately I had no solution so I let it go on until I got home 24 hrs later....

When I woke up, my eye was bloodshot and hurting like crazy... I put in tears drops to moisturize it, so the red was gone, but than on one of my eyes, the cornea has a white dot in it... it almost looks like a pimple... Since that day, I haven't been able to wear my contacts due to the irritation...

It's been 5 days since, the white dot is still there, but my eyes are not hurting as much. I wore contacts to work for the first time in 5 days... went through half the day fine... than the pain I felt on Friday came back and now contacts are off again....

Anything you may know about this... plz advise.

From your description it is highly likely that you have a corneal ulcer. A cornel ulcer is a bacterial colony that is growing on your cornea and eating into it forming an ulcer. IT IS NOT A STYE. Styes only occur on the lids. Corneal ulcers can be permanently sight threatening so I'm going to give you exactly the advice your didn't want to hear. You need to go see a doctor in order to have it dianosed and treated. It may go away on it's own. But then again (depending upon how aggressive the bacteria is) it may just eat a whole completely through your cornea. WOW! Go in and have it looked at.

I have one too but mine is a light yellow. It looks like a fat deposit. I've been to the ophthalmologist five times withing the last three months for an unrelated problem and had an MRI and they never said anything about it. So, it's probably the same for you. I must really need to lose a couple of pounds if I have fat in my eye, LOL!

It could be either a corneal ulcer (highly likely!!) or a pterygium. A pterygium is a growth on the eye, usually related to sun irritation. Either way, it's good that you are seeing a doctor. Don't put your contacts back in. Doing so can cause further, irreversable damamge.
