English Paragraph.......?

So I have to write 3 deep sentences in English class about symbols that can be found in books. (You pick one symbol) Mine is on bridges falling. You also can't do something 2 cliche...

so here's mine:

A broken bridge represents a dream or goal fading away. It's being able to almost touch it, but crumbles right before your eyes. It's the feeling of running 3 miles but not ever going anywhere.
