Seriously, for those are the storm/typhoon & flood months.

And from info gathered from other people, one of the best months to go to the Philippines is January & even February.

It is just after the Christmas Holiday which is the worst but also the most joyful time to go there. Supposedly it doesn't really rain on those months all that much, & it is probably among the coolest times of the year. And normally airlines give out deals on those months for flights aren't as full as in December.

The cheapest time to fly here is during the rainy/typhoon season which is July through November. April and May is peak season as it is the school summer break and all the hotels/resorts are charging peak season rates. June, July, August and December is when the flights cost the most.

Typhoon season. The airlines are able to save a lot on fuel as long as they ride the winds (tailwinds), plane-wash is free and brakes don't wear down too much once they hit the flooded runway.

I booked a single one way flight in dec 2013 manila to uk £120
