Is there a good place online to check the value of old books?
I have a bunch of old books, dating back into the late 1800's and want to know if they're worth anything. Is there a good website to do this?

Each book is different depending on how rare it is and the condition. Here are a few resources that I often use. They should at least point you in the right direction. Hope this helps!

I would make inquiries at a couple of antiquarian bookstores close to you and see if there is anyone you like and trust to give you a fair valuation. Since condition plays such a big part in value you probably won't get much satisfaction on line.

I go to abebooks.com and alibris.com and search for the book to see how other sellers and dealers have priced it. This will give you a ballpark. But keep in mind that your book's value will be very much determined by its condition.
