Have you ever accidentally filled your car tyres with water instead of air?

I'm not saying I have, I was just wondering........

    Actually it does get done.Maybe not as much now as what it used to be but many rear tyres on tractors had water put in them when using a front bucket loader.This was counter weight for lifting and extremely successful cost wise.

    No, but I did fill a diesel tank with petrol once, before the nozzle made it obvious

    Wouldn't work here in the great white north.

    The fittings are supposed to be idiot proof so that it can't be done.

    Of course when man builds idiot proof tools nature just builds a better idiot.

    No me did it on purpose, you see it gives our cats something to tear to bits in the summer when it was hot.

    No, but I filled them with Helium, and floated my way into town, all over the traffic
