Jesus Christ. They know the TRUTH. My kids give gifts to children at school who are in need. It is their way of showing the love of Jesus.
They know that Jesus Christ was born to die so that we could have life eternal. The greatest gift of all!

Well, I'm not a parent, but as a kid (teen) myself I care way more about Jesus. The birth of Christ was one major event!!! :D My family never really did the whole Santa Claus thing. Well, let me re-phrase that...we never did it. I don't think it's wrong to do that though, (faking the whole Santa thing for the kids...why not?) the only objection I would have would be if it took the place of Jesus. But as long as you do both and don't emphasize that Christmas is all about Santa and presents, why not? I honestly don't think that Santa is "evil"...he only could be if he was a distraction from the True Meaning of Christmas...so if he isn't, and the kids are being taught about Christ, I don''t really see a problem.

American kids care more about santa. Because there parents have taught them that he brings them gifts. which makes them selfish and loose the true meaning to Christmas. It is nothing more than a money day.

Baby Jesus.
Santa is just a fat man on the back of a tractor trailer, after all the Salvation Army bands have gone by in the parade.

My daughter thinks they are both "funny looking story people". She knows good and well that her presents come from ME.
