How do you use four 2's to equal 7?

You can only use four 2's.

You can use adding, subtracting, multiplying, diving and fractions.

You can combine the 2's together.

ex: 22, 222

You can use exponents, but the exponent could only be two.

ex: 2^2

But, if you use exponents like the example above,

that is using up two 2's.

So the maximum of using exponents is: 2^2 + 2^2.

Since that is all four 2's.

Example: If i were to use four 2's to equal 9,

(22/2)-2=9

And to equal 5,

(2/2)+(2+2)=5

Update:

this is mathematically possible.

i have to do this for extra credit.

    The answer is {(2/2) / .2} + 2 =7

    so (2/2) =1

    1/.2 = 5

    and 5 + 2 =7.

    Hope that helps!
