The answer is C. You do this by factoring an x out of the numerator and then factor the remaining quadratic in the numerator to (x+5)(x+2) and you get:

    x(x+5)(x+2) / x^4(x+2)

by cancelling and doing simple algebra you get (x+5) / x^3

    if x = 2 then: (2) + 2x3 -4(2)4 then: if x4 = is to the fourth means then your answer is: 2 + 6 - sixty 4 = -fifty six if x4 isn't to the fourth means then your answer is: 2 + 6 - 32 = -24

I assume when you write x3 you mean x to the third power.

    C
