I agree, In my unbiased opinion, I think Gators will win, not a blowout, but they might win big.

Alabama... You beat Florida by stopping the run... Look for Cody to plug up the middle and for Alabama defensive backs to have a solid game against Tebow and the Florida receivers. I don't see Florida stopping the Alabama ground game and the Tide's passing attack is just good enough to keep the safeties and linebackers back and out of the box.

In many ways, I see this game as being similar to Alabama's national title game against Miami Jan. 1, 1993. In that game, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Gino Torretta led an eight-point favorite Hurricanes team against a strong defensive Alabama team backed by a very vanilla offensive unit. Alabama's defense that year was led by a strong front four. The front four this year is not as strong, but is still very good. And, the offense this year is much better than the 1992 Tide offense.

I think the score will be closer than the 1993 Sugar Bowl with Alabama scoring in the low-to-mid 20s and Florida in the low-to-mid teens. And given two months to work with before the National Title game, I would imagine that Nick Saban, who is a master single-game planner, will have the Tide prepared to take on Oklahoma, if it beats Missouri, or Texas, USC or Penn State if Missouri wins the Big 12 game.

I think it will be Florida, also...but it won't be a blowout. Alabama has a very physical team, and their defensive players are huge. You can make the argument that Alabama hasn't played anybody yet, and I don't disagree, but I'm impressed enough with what I have seen from that defense this year to say that Florida will win by 6 or 7 points...not the 10 that they're projected to win by.

I think Alabama will quiet the many critics on here. A big part of Florida will either be out or be at around 75% and that is Percy Harvin. He has been HUGE for the gators and if he is out, the gators could struggle a bit on offense. I just hope this winds up being a good game like it should be.

    Bama - 35

    Gators - 33

Alabama will push Florida's weak line right out of the Georgia Dome and win 24 to 21.

I think the Gators will win regardless. If they score early, or get a turnover early, it will be a long day for the Tide. If not it will be closer, but the Gators will still come out on top. There is a reason the #4 Gators are 10 point favorites against the #1 ranked Tide. GO GATORS>
