My cable tech came out yesterday and said our dbi was too low. What is a dbi? ?

    The DB part probably means decibals or however you spell that. 2 low db's and you get a bad signal I believe. The good level of dbs is between -8 and positive 8.

    I only answered because I see that nobody else did. I don't know much about cable. I've only been training for a cable tech job for 3 days now.
