is it true people are trying to have Obama made King of the USA?

Nothing to do with Obama personally, but if you read some of the posts on some of these Questions/answers, some blogs, talk shows, it seems many Americans already believe we have a King.

Like they can ban guns, repeal constitutional amendments, raise/lower taxes, declare new laws, that a President can go to war, spend what he wants, when he wants, single handedly create new programs.

The President has very little power to do anything on their own, unlike most Americans apparently believe.

First off, kings don't exist here in America, and we would never develop a monarchy because we believe in freedom for all. A king is capable of doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that he wants. In America, the president is the chief and commander, who has much less power than a king would have. So, to answer your questions, the sayings on Barack Obama are false.

Well the USA seems to think is leader of the world and as Obama in the highest elected position he'd be "in control of the world".

I don't think anyone is saying this seriously I believe they were being negative and refereing to my above statement.

thats simply creepy. If that's true, I won't be able to sleep at night. Regardless of whether they did or not, I hope to God that no sane person in America would consider a King, least of all an Obama king.

no it is not going to happen!!! that is like a quarter of one percent of one state of people that want that to happen..... just like there is a comunist party.. jsut like there is a eco party. but it is less than one percent of a quarter of americans!!! so hold your horses some people belive alians are controling over half the people in america!! lol someone might believe it but it is not going to happen
