MIKE TOMLIN, coach of the year?

Head coach MIKE TOMLIN of the Pittsburgh Steelers is the MOTOROLA NFL COACH OF THE WEEK for games played on November 27 – December 1, the NFL announced today.

It was the 3rd time this year (Week 5 n 9 also)

http://news.steelers.com/article/100595/

I know there are several good coaches out there this year, but doesn't Tomlin deserve to be in the running?

Zorn and Sparano have turned their teams around well.

The Steelers had the toughest schedule this year in the NFL, based on the records of their opponents.

Tomlin has led the Steelers to the 2nd best record in the ACF, against them.

I'm open to other nominations,

your reasons?

lets keep this friendly, no hating please

Update:

I DO know there are other good candidates out there, I mentioned a couple myself

Just looking for other thoughts, ideas

I have NOT given out ANY of the thumbs down

Being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, of course I am pulling for Mike Tomlin. But unfortunately, I think that Jim Zorn will get that reward.

Sorry dude but look at what Tom COughlin did with the Giants

    a 11-5 team to 11-1 already in week 14.

Im saying Coughlin but u never know, u have good reason and Tomlin has a great chance

  • Sorry dude, there's many canditates out there, because it depends on how you look at it. But I don't see it being Mike Tomlin. I'd like to see Mike Smith win it for all of what he's done since he's came to Atlanta.

Maybe...Pitt has had a tough Schedule and I see them dropping atleast 2 of their next 4...1 to the Cowboys and 1 to the Titans or Browns...yeah the Browns since Pitt might not have to play their starters for that game.
