None. You're too young to be in the special forces.
In four years, you might have a much better chance.

You have about a 12% chance to complete the entire training. A normal person can bench there own body weight so that's not good. You are never going to run only a 100m in SF. Nobody cares what your GPA is. Shooting before your in the Military is not really a good thing you should learn the Army way. Well anyways you really disrespect the Military by not capitalizing Military branches and Special Forces. Start running every day working your way up to around 5 miles in under 35 minutes. Be able to do around a 120 push ups and 130 sit ups in 2 minutes and 30 pull ups. This is just for the PFT.

My son is currently going through the Special Forces training in North Carolina. He has been in the Army for approx 5 yrs. First he enlisted and went to the usual boot camp and technical training. He has served 2 tours in IRAQ. He completed Official Candidate training as a Lt. Then completed Airborne and Ranger training. He is currently a Captain. He submitted his resume for Special Forces and was accepted to come and attempt to qualify. This gives you an idea of how to get to Special Forces. You don't go straight there from Boot. From my discussions with my son the two key elements are Mental and Physical toughness. Don't under estimate the Mental part. During Ranger training he said that was the key for him, to be strong emotionally. Many people attempt Ranger or Special Forces Training but don't make it. So don't think its a cake walk. But I can tell you they are One Pride and Capable Group of Guys.

You had better be prepared for the greatest physical and mental challenge of your life. Special forces is not for everyone thats why they have a selection. First enlist and tell the recruiter you won't go unless you have all the schools and a try out for SF. Go to Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, Ranger and any and all schools you can get. That will give you the best tools for becoming a SF soldier.

Being fit has little to do with it. Endurance will help.
As mentioned, you don't normally directly apply for the 'special forces' - have you applied for military service at all yet?
Generally SF candidates are taken from infantry or technical regiments. You could try the Marines or Rangers, airborne infantry or specialise in a technical field and take airborne training.
SF training has little to do with fitness or technical expertise (though they are needed)and more about attitude and aptitude . Gung-ho idiocy will score low. You need to run until you throw up and then continue running until you collapse, however fit or unfit you are. You may need to pass psychological tests that show you are willing to kill against your own beliefs..(as any military candidate should ), though SF soldiers are generally more individual thinking.

As others observed not being chosen isn't the be all end enthusiastic approximately going at it back. He needs to maintain that in the time of innovations. various that does could do with you your self. He needs to appreciate that if he's not chosen he's not a failure on your eyes, existence is going on and which you're proud for him attempting no remember what. attempt to decrease distractions like having him e mail or call you and enable him understand you merely isn't indignant in case you do not pay attention from him plenty in any respect. He needs to be fully concentrated on the interest handy. that concentration is what the SF seems for. there are a number of who are in super shape and would carry a weapon yet not all have psychological stamina. back you enter into that in the time of a fashion. i could advise besides that at this element considering that he has been understanding (probably weights and such) that he switches to greater cardio activities like working, cycling and such. the massive beefy adult males fall out first. the adult males who've the attutude that they are able to pass consistently no remember what win. considering that he has in basic terms been in for 3 it does not harm him one bit to bone up on each and every SF e book he can get his hands on. it may provide him a clue as to historic past and why the SF is what that's. psychological element back. Be proud that he's attempting. could he make it each and every of ways by way of.... welcome to the family contributors.

You need to provide your mile and a half time and your # of pushups in a minute and # of situps in a minute. If you can't run a mile and a half faster than 9 mins, then forget about it. You don't want excess muscles for SF, you want to be lean and muscular, able to carry your own body weight for far distances.

That depends on how determined you are and how much you will work for it. Ask a local recruiter and see what they say you have to do. The do it and no questions asked. And don't just do it, do it plus more!
