Is it possible for the earth not to have polarities?

Very basic question. Looking for all different theories, opinion and scientific.

    No don't buy it. Electricity is not what gives earth polarity. The earths electromagnetic field is due to its molten iron core. The poles are always moving. They are miles away from where they were a million years ago. The molten core is the emf which becomes visible as the northern lights is the oversimplified reasoning. Also a compass won't work on the moon because it doesn't have either of those factors.
