Will changing stereo in my 2003 trailblazer hurt my car computer or onstar?
I recently installed a pioneer stereo in my 2003 chevy trailblazer. Now the ABS and brake light stay on. Also a couple of times my car would not start. This has never happened before. I had to cut and splice the speaker wires as the plugs did not match the original two plugs(white and black) I left taped over and stuck away in the dash. Were they needed for my car to work properly. I only installed a stereo. I hope I did not hurt the car computer.

yes you are about to damage the BCM and repairs are going to be expensive
remove the battery terminal and install the factory radio and fix all the wires back to factory
drive it for a day or two
you are going to replace the radio again but this time you need the correct harness to do the installation follow this link
