No, its like a demo cd with only a few songs on it (less than 10) before the real one will come out.
Just demo songs, is all. :]

E P comes from the old 7" 45 records.
they were called Extended Play, because they had 4 songs on them instead of 2
Today it can mean many things,
It "might" be just a demo, but NOT usually.
It's usually a CD with less songs than a full CD, but more than one, like a "single"
