no, thats not always it
sometimes you are just really biased about a name maybe because you know someone with the name, or for some reason you like it, and sometimes it takes someone elses honest opinion to realize that it isnt the greatest name.
also, you might not have thought about a name, and when you hear it you realize you love it more than the other names.
but its good to get other people opinions to see what people will think of your babies name!

ick. i think a lot of the people on here have horrible tastes in names. too many made up/ignorantly spelled retarded names.
