Determine fair value for Vintage Wizard ?
Father died, cleaning up the estate. Packed away in the back of the garage was a Wizard outboard. WO (D) ? 4S Ser # 209914 It seems to be in good shape. Engine not seized, turns over with compression. Prop is in good shape. No large dings or scratches. I plan on offering it for sale but have no idea of what a fair value is. Can you help?

I think you fane a great classic there. In late 40's early 50's, my father and I had a Chris Craft and later Scott Attwater outboard we would carry to various lakes, rent a bout and fish all day/ I can imagine the pleasure your father received from his wizard. Most kids that grew up in rural or urban America would have experienced the 'Western Flyer' wagon another Western Auto Icon. take a peek on ebay some of the Wizard engines are priced right high and they do sell, depending on what you have i have been looking one myself but have not as of yet found the size i am looking
