chocolate cookie glaze?
I have a batch of cookies and I want to do a simple chocolate glaze. I have Baker's unsweetened chocolate squares, cocoa powder, and anything else needed except no cream or half and half. How can I make a glaze that will somewhat harden? Thanks!

2 squares of the bakers chocolate or 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Karo
2 tablespoons water
melt and stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is very smooth. You can add powder sugar to this or not.
Smear it on the cookies with washed hand.

1 oz. square unsweetened chocolate
Dash of salt
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Combine sugar and cornstarch; add chocolate, salt and 1/2 cup water. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly and chocolate melts. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. While hot, frost rolled cake.
