Military Women and Men?

I am proud of you as I am my daughter and son that are serving. Thank you. She loves her job and has re upped just as here husband did. My son served 8 yrs and now is a reservist and ready to go again if needed. And he is a federal fireman.

And that is basically my answer to your question, they just don't understand. They don't know what the life style is like, they don't understand the call soldiering has on people's lives, they don't understand that for a lot of musterings you need to be a bloody genius!

WOW, Whoever Thought that.. Try joining the military. Get into MEPS just MEPS.

You will understand that Joining is probably very HARD.

WHY?

First you need to past a test ASVAB, Which most of you some people cant even score above 20..

Pass that? Got a HS Diploma? GED? Can't join without it!

Sluts? WTF? Our female soldiers would RAPE YOU?

I too am neither a ****, lazy, or a drop out. i come from a proud military heritage and love that in this day and age women can join up too!

Brainwashed I wouldn't go that far but institutionalized I would defiantly say no

Everything else need not apply the Military does truly offer some great training and experience but it's not for everyone and those are the one's who usually spew hate and ignorance

honestly when i was in high school this is what i though. But later on my husband joined and then so did I. i was completely wrong and i wish everyone else could see what i see now so that they wouldnt think it too.

I think the majority of civilians who have no ties to the military don't understand the committment servicemen & women make which leads them to make idiotic remarks & ridiculous stereotypes.

For the females, I think they are brave to join.

Of course everyone in todays military gets nothing but my deepest respect.
