Does anyone else out there think the Lancia Stratos HF is the best car of all time?

I doubt that anyone out here knows what a lancia is.

Its best in the Alitalia trim.

Stock and Group 4 looked right, but the Group 5 just looked too "tacked on" for my taste.

Scary to drive.

My answer would be No and Yes. It would be in my top Ten. I wouldn't put it as the best of all time. Theres too many greats out there. I couldn't settle for One.

Tipper, I own 2 Lancias and they still make fine autos. Richard Gear just did an ad for their new coup this year.

But sadly you are right about lack of Lancia knowledge. Other than mine, I havent seen another pass me in 16 years. This is the US I'm talking about.

(I usually pass them off as a Ferraris to end confusion)

Someone in the UK was recently manufacturing Stratos kit cars. Side by side, you couldn't tell the difference what was real or fake. Actually they use the kit parts to restore real ones.
