Will the NY Jets make the playoffs?

As a Jet fan I think they will still win the division and get the 4th seed.

I want to see what other people think?

I know most of you will say NE and Miami.

Update:

Roger W, just because I'm a Jet fan doesn't mean I can't be objective. I only said most people will say NE and Miami because I know a lot of people hate the NY Jets since Farve came and we got all the attention.

I also think the last game between the Jets and Dolphins win decide the division.

Out of the three teams I would say Miami has the highest chance of winning the division.

They play SF next week at home, and then KC on the road, but the Jets are playing BUF next week, and then SEA to follow so it could very well come down to the final week of the season when MIA plays the Jets at the Meadowlands.

The only way NE wins the division if MIA & NYJ lose once, and NE wins out.

The Jets will make the playoffs but i dont think they will win the divison. I think the Dolphins will beat the Jets week 17 to take the divison title. I think the only way the pats will make it is if three teams from the AFC East go to the post season. Pats have the toughest schedule out of the east and they will fall to the 3rd spot and buffalo obviously 4th. I think the jets will be 1 and done in the playoffs. AFC is too tough for them. Your talking Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Colts, Titans. The Jets wont be able to score enough points against these teams and they have been playing really sloppy Defense. Sorry Jet Fans but there wont be a Subway Super Bowl. Giants will make it there again though. GMEN!!!

    Miami-1st

    Jets-2nd

    Pats-3rd

    Buffalo-4th

This is a stupid question concedering

    1. You are called jets in 2008 and want them to win, so if i say Pats and dolphins will do it u will be unhappy with that answer

    2. They are tied at the top with 4 games to go and i don't think anyone knows who will win that division

    and

    3. you say 'most of you will say NE and Miami'

My answer is i hope they don't

I really really really really hope they don't

Pats and fins all the way

Reply: I dunno...i know more people who hate the steelers...and the jets had all the hype after beating the Titans...If people have started hating the jets its only after there recent attitude (e.g. me)

But yes i agree, even if the the whole thing goes on its head that Jets - Dolphins match will be a doozie

Source(s): The cheated when they beat the pats in overtime, and celebrated like it was the superbowl. Now i hope they don't make playoffs ALSO: Just an addition - Jets and Dolphins have to play each other...that means one of them as to lose...is the ball now in the pats court? (as long as they win all their last games, or match the win/loss of the fins and jets)

I would like to see the Jets win the division because I hate the Packers and would love to see Favre cram it down their throats.

That said, I believe it will be close. It will come down to the Pats, and the winner of the Miami vs. Jets season finale. I'm going to go ahead and give that game to the Jets since the Dolphins will probably struggle in the frigid northeast.

The Jets really need to win out and they need to be rooting for New England to lose to Arizona. Arizona is about the only team that has a good chance of beating New England in their final games. The Jet's toughest game left is against Miami.

I'm hoping the Jets win because I'd hate to see New England make the play-offs.

Barring an epic meltdown (that's never out of the question with the Jets) the Jets will make the playoffs, yet they don't seem to be waiting to make a severe championship run quite yet. they could desire to have the skill to conquer between the decrease seeded playoff communities, like the Chiefs or the Jaguars, yet whilst their play against exact tier communities to date is any indication they could have worry with the different communities. Mark has made large advancements when you consider that final year, that's all that i honestly could desire to verify, yet championship QBs don't have video games like the only final Monday. He did no longer get help from his receivers or Schotty's normally problematical playcalling, yet 2 of those 3 interceptions have been in simple terms destructive judgements. He purely began sixteen video games in college and remains VERY early in his progression so i'm no longer nerve-racking long term, yet he's not quite there yet, except he performs like he did contained in the 1st and 0.33 rounds of the playoffs final year. And the protection play isn't something in need of distressing. Jim Leonhard replaced into quite primary in coverage, yet even he's an infinite progression over the coverage skill of Eric Smith. The familiarity of Rex's protection that he brings to the table is likewise so powerful. they could desire to have the skill to discern something out going forward, yet having below each and every week to fill that void against a passing offense like the Pats is plenty to ask. somewhat, they performed like finished rubbish, yet no count number which way you decrease it they're nonetheless 9-3.

being objective, i think NE has the better chance...the jets have 3 tough games still: at seattle (weak team but nyj lost all 3 west coast games so far this year including yesterday), buffalo, plus against miami...NE only has oakland, buffalo and arizona (which will be tough but its home)...so the jets have 2/3 tough games whereas NE has 1/3 tough games..but NE has more veteran leadership and overalll more weapons capable of making a play-off push than either the jets or 'fins...

I think jets will make it they are the division leaders so they are already in the playoff picture and they have a pretty easy schedule for the rest of the season playing Bills, Seahawks and Dolphins....if anything Dolphins will be there biggest threat but i say they make it and Miami gets wildcard spot

No - Brett Favre at this stage of his career is a hinderance to the team - he throws too many interceptions and makes stupid plays. Thomas Jones is a stud who has carried this team thus far, but I do not think he can get them in playoffs.

The Patriots will win the division

I hope so. That way I can have my dream Super Bowl matchup.

    Jets V Giants.

Imagine how crazy NYC would be.
