what's good laptop brand?

Ok I would go with HP because I have seen on Sony Vaios that their chargers get f***ed up easily. Besides, HP's more interactive because it's got touch screen and from what I see you want a really cool laptop with the latest. Now as for the screen, well...I'm not sure how much do they measure but if you want a 13'' screen, then go with the newest one from MAC but then again it almost costs 2000 dlls (but has everything you want) while other laptops are now 700 dlls and even 300 dlls (check Dell's tiniest laptop only for 300 dlls)

I have heard that Macbooks are excellent, but that would be way out of your price range. I have a Sony Vaio, and it is really nice. My brother has one too. It works really well. Just don't buy Acer unless it is a Business computer I guess. I had one for one and a half years, and it crashed. Definitely stay away from Acer. I would recommend a Sony Vaio.

my whole school uses hp because we have to have laptops. they work really well but before that we had dell. they didn't work so well because they were always breaking and stuff. they seemed really cheap. but other than that i would say that mac is really good. it just works well for everything - pictures, videos, internet, word... everything! but if you either want a sony or hp the hp is better.

If you would like to spend some extra money. Go for a Mac. They are great.

You don't have to worry about it getting bugs.

But if you don't want to get something that expensive, go for a Dell or Sony.

Sony rm-70

I had a toshiba and had nothing but problems, my mother, and my girlfriend the same. I just purchased a sony vaio though and am really pleased with it. hope this helps.

If I had to choose between the two, I would pick Sony. My favorite is Toshiba, though. Mine's a Toshiba and it is still running good.

mac books are over 1000 but i definetly prefer sony
