I can't get the Sound on my Computer Back.?
I've tried the Suggestions, Some how i am missing a Click, Can someone please let me have more Details

standard checks
check you have plugged into the green one that is sound out
check you have power to your speakers.
open control panel / sounds and audio devices
check to see if mute is ticked (un tick it )click on advanced in that area check others are not muted ( done )
right click my computer / properties / hardware / device manager
check for any "(?)" with yellow or green background, if there is under sound ,video, game controllers, reinstall your sound and video drivers that came with you pc

check to make sure the sound drivers are ok, Right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device manager > look for sound video and game controllers > if it has an exclamation mark on it right click on it and update driver, you can either install the drive from a cd or drivers disk or allow windows to attempt to find it on the web

This worked for me... Start> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Component Services> Services > windows audio > start service

Mine does that once in a while too...I usually go to device manager,find your sound device and update the drivers.If that fails...I would run a hardware check (PC help and tools) to search for the problem.

What is the name of your computers sound card > enter dxdiag into the run commands to find out.
What is the make and model of your computer
