Chicago politics dirty to the top?
"Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested on Tuesday on charges he brazenly conspired to sell or trade the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by President-elect Barack Obama to the highest bidder in what a federal prosecutor called a "corruption crime spree."
What do you say now? By the way, Governor, your hairstyle went out in the 80's...or is it a piece?

Springfield politics are dirty at the top.....Chicago politics are a somewhat separate entity that run what goes on in Springfield. I would like to put this out there.....maybe Chicago politics are how politics are supposed to be!? Protect the man at the top and make the city work. Seems to work for Richard M. obviously; Rod just got sloppy.

Springfield may be the capital but the states bases everything out of Chicago and it's needs, just how the state works, it caters to Chicago and Cook County. I've gotta be honest....it makes me a laugh with all the corruption and dirty politics that goes on here (from chicago suburb)

Chicago politics? The capital city of the State of Illinois is Springfield. What has that to do with Chicago?

Chicago is the cesspool of American politics and has been for as long as I can remember. This is the political gene pool the president elect climbed out of.
In the spirit of these politics we have a president elect that doesn't meet the Constitutional minimum requirements to hold presidential office, and is flaunting his blatant refusal to honor that document in our faces.
(Springfield may be the official state capital, but Chicago is the "political" capital and the center of political power.)

Politics, pretty much dirty on both sides, maybe not 100%, but a whole lot of dirt to go around in both parties.
